Two by Two Breaks Its Silence
Two by Two’s Board released a statement today. I can’t see it—but 20 of you made sure I did
Well, well, well. After months of mounting concerns, difficult testimonies, and more silence than accountability, the Board of Directors at Two by Two Animal Rescue has finally broken their silence—posting a public statement on Facebook just this afternoon.

Of course, I wouldn’t know firsthand—they have me blocked. But no less than 20 of you sent me the screenshot within minutes of it going up (thank you, by the way). That’s the beauty of community.
In their statement, the Board acknowledges serious allegations about animal care, donations, and financial mismanagement. They claim to be conducting a “thorough and impartial review” with the help of outside experts, and mention that the Executive Director has taken a leave of absence “for personal family reasons.”
Let’s be clear: this is encouraging.
The fact that the Board is finally acknowledging public concern signals a shift from their previous approach—one that relied heavily on denial, deflection, and performative compassion. It appears, at least for now, that they’re taking these allegations seriously.
But this doesn’t mean the story is over. Not by a long shot.
My coverage continues.
I have more testimony, documentation, and investigative work still in the queue. Upcoming episodes will explore the deeper dysfunction within Two by Two, including donor-driven dog placements, foster-to-adopt betrayals, and contradictions between public statements and private behavior. We’ll also be revisiting the Gaza dog saga, the Shelterluv donation loopholes, and the internal culture that enabled this mess.
And hey—maybe their “impartial review” will include listening to the podcast and the brave voices who’ve come forward. Just a thought.
This moment of transparency from the Board is a welcome start—but it is not a conclusion.
As always, thank you to everyone who continues to speak up, share tips, and demand better—for the animals, the volunteers, and the community that trusted this organization to do right.
Until next time,
Stay unfiltered, friends.
